Mountain View III

Located on a property boasting unrivalled views of the mountains, both close and distant, with the city in between, this existing double-storey house is approached from the road below on a driveway which splits the garden in two portions, rendering one less usable. The design objectives include optimising family living and entertainment at both levels, improved circulation between levels, enhancing connections to the garden on north and south sides, and revitalising the dated look of the existing house. The driveway is redirected and parking located lower on the property so as to maximise the area for landscape enjoyment.
