House on the Hill
The project entailed a complete renovation of and additions to a gracious home at the top of a cascading garden. The design sought to ground the building on the site and rationalise the living spaces and bedrooms over both levels to culminate in a contemporary, pared-down home befitting its subtle and distinguished location. Landscape intervention sought to formalise the ground plane on which the house is located, enhancing the visual connection to the garden and swimming pool of the tiered site.
