Urban Farmhouse
The brief called for the integration of fragmented garden areas on a steep site, together with expansive living areas that maximised panoramic harbour and bay views. At our clients’ request, the house is a contemporary take on the classic farmhouse with wraparound stoep. The palette of white walls, off-shutter concrete, natural timber and moments of raw brickwork are counter-balanced with crisp joinery and bursts of colour. The assembly is finessed with an eclectic range of furniture and décor.
